Brackets For Good- 2017 Cincinnati Tournament - Cincinnati Event

Indianapolis-based Brackets For Good, which pairs with corporate and nonprofit sponsors to host online, bracket-style fundraising tournaments in philanthropic communities around the United States each March, has raised more than $2.75 million for local charities since its 2012 kick-off contest in Indianapolis. Due to overwhelming success, the tournament originally expanded from Indianapolis to Louisville in 2015, followed by Ann Arbor, St. Louis and Twin Cities in 2016. Brackets For Good is pleased to announce it will break into several other markets in 2017, including Denver, Cincinnati, Miami, Hartford, Nashville and Baltimore, as well as a national bracket tournament.

The six-round online tournament takes place over five weeks beginning on the last Friday in February and ending on the first Friday of April. Participating nonprofit organizations compete to out-fundraise their opponents, earn increased exposure, meet new donors, and have a chance to win $10,000 from generous corporate sponsors. Dollars from donors translate to points, giving participants the opportunity to advance in each market bracket. Competing nonprofits keep donations received during tournament play, no matter how many rounds they last.
