Enjoy coffee, a sweet treat, and share your "Sweet
MUMories" of your time at Miami University Middletown. These will be recorded
as part of an Oral History project. If you have old photos to share please
bring them for us to scan and return at the event for our photo archive. Miami Middletown opened its doors
in 1966 with 700 full time students. The first to actually enroll were two
members of the Middletown High School Class of 1966: Robert "Corky"
Cordray and Judy Cook Sisson. Since that day over 14,000 students have spent at
least 20 credit hours on campus. Bev Howard, Eleanor Gilmore and Lois Wood
invites you to share your classroom stories, tell them why everyone took that
one professor or share what class changed your path in life.

campus over the years by taking a part in student organizations or working a
campus jobs. Carol Caudill, Daphne Eldridge and Wanita Hatton invite you back
to campus to share your unique out of the classroom experience. From KOAS, WMUM,
Bunny Hollow Players, Student Government, Model UN, Student Nursing
Associations, and more. Whether you worked in the mail room with Olame Pearson
or in the Gardner-Harvey Library with Virginia Brown you have a story they
would love to hear.

bring them for us to scan and return at the event for our photo archive. With technology involving so quickly research
methods are not the same as they were when the Gardner-Harvey Library opened in
1966. It opened with about 6,000 volumes and held 64,000 when its first
head librarian, Virginia Brown, retired at the end of December 1978. Belinda
Martindell, Virginia Ellis Palmer and John Burke invite you to share your great
research stories, how the library has changed, special events hosted by
the library and for those who spent time working there sharing what went on
behind the stacks.

It's better than a slam-dunk in basketball, a home run in baseball and a perfect spike in volleyball. It's better than all these rolled into one. It's the memories of being part of the team. Lynn Darbyshire, Cheryl Miller and Jim Sliger all invite you to come share those road trip stories, before game traditions, and the journey to the big win.

bring them for us to scan and return at the event for our photo archive. Honoring her late husband, Gladys Finkelman
provided the initial funding for the Dave Finkelman Auditorium, which was
dedicated in 1969. This 670-seat theater has been the home of the campus'
Artist & Lecture Series, Bunny Hollow Players, Fantastic Free Fridays
Series, and the Casper Lecture Series. From The Guess Who to the Moscow Ballet
and from Beverly Sills to Maya Angelou, Dave Finkelman Auditorium has been the
home of many of the campus' most memorable cultural events. Over the years the
auditorium has been a cultural home for many area groups, from the Middletown
Symphony, Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band, Middletown Lyric Theatre, and many
dance recitals. Les Landen, Mike McVey and Jeff
Sams invites you to share your stories from your favorite
performances and share what really goes on back stage and in the sound booth.
If you have any tickets or programs we encourage you to bring them to
share.
