Learn how to find ghosts at the third-annual Librari*Con Nov. 7 - all inspired by geek and fandom culture.
Librari*Con is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Union Township Branch Library, 4450 Glen Este-Withamsville Road. Activities are geared toward teens and adults.
Lots of activities are planned so there is something for everyone. Judy Knuckles, a paranormal investigator with Cincinnati Research and Paranormal Studies, will describe how she conducts searches. She also will display some of the equipment she uses for investigations.
Justin Rains will tell you how he created a robot with a MP3 player and a Raspberry Pi.
Todd Bunn from Gateway Games & More will be in the gaming table area where you can try your hand at lots of board and vintage video games.
Amateur cartoonist Andrew Benjamin will create small sketches for visitors and display his work.

Share your thoughts and artwork on our Post-it-Note wall. Take a picture in the photo booth. Design your own marshmallow shooter and try it in Rick's Range for prizes. Celebrate the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, by making your own light saber. Explore the world of MakeyMakey while playing a R2D2 Operation game. Make your own button. Create a Dr. Who bowtie. Have your face painted by Fabulous Faces by Jen, a professional artist.
Bring your friends. The library will have food and more fun.
