RED CARPET PREMIERE -- CINCINNATI ! - Cincinnati Event

In a new documentary, Dog By Dog, Chicago filmmaker Chris Grimes explores the role of money and politics in creating and supporting the nation's "puppy mill" industry and probes the question of how puppy mills continue to thrive despite overwhelming public opposition.  Ohio, which ranks sixth in the nation with the most USDA-licensed "puppy mill" dog breeding facilities, is featured prominently in the film.   

The DBD Ohio Red Carpet Premiere, hosted by animal advocacy organizations, Ohio Voters for Companion Animals (OVCA), Inc., and Rescue Me Ohio (RMO), is expected to be attended by well over 500 animal-lovers who support our mission of educating and advocating against "puppy mills" through grassroots advocacy and legislative engagement.  

A catered VIP reception to honor individuals and groups who have made an impact in the fight against puppy mills and animal cruelty in Ohio will precede the film. A question-and-answer session with members of the DBD production team will immediately follow each screening.  6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

100% of proceeds benefit the educational and advocacy work of 5414 Inc. DBD Educational Fund, Ohio Voters for Companion Animals (OVCA), and Rescue Me Ohio (RMO).
