PETER FRAMPTON & CHEAP TRICK - Cincinnati Event

WHAT: Following another year of non-stop touring including select solo performances, dates with The Doobie Brothers and the return of Frampton's Guitar Circus, Grammy Award winner Peter Frampton is back on the road—this time co-headlining with American rock legends Cheap Trick.

 

Grammy award-winning English-American rock musician Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. His international breakthrough album  "Frampton Comes Alive!" sold more than six million copies in the United States alone and spawned several hits such as "Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do." Frampton was recently inducted in the Musicians Hall of Fame, performed on-stage at the Grammy's with Ringo Starr and played an integral part in the 50^th anniversary celebration of the Beatles' arrival in the U.S. by performing on CBS' "The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute to The Beatles."

 

Since the 70s, Cheap Trick has blended elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is instantly catchy and recognizable. With timeless classics such as "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender" and "The Flame," Cheap Trick is a musical institution. Along with more than 5,000 performances, 20 million records sold, 29 movie soundtracks and 40 gold and platinum recording awards, the band was also honored in October 2007 by the Chicago Chapter of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) for their contributions to the music industry. Their most current release, "The Latest," has garnered glowing reviews worldwide and continues Cheap Trick's reign as power-pop progenitors as they continue their legacy of over 35 years in the music industry.
