George Thorogood And Brian Setzer - Cincinnati Event

June 02, 2015 - Huber Heights

6800 Executive Blvd
Huber Heights, OH 45424
800-745-3000

WHAT: Electrifying rock bands George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot reunite as co-headliners for the first time in more than 20 years on their "George Thorogood and The Destroyers / Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot Tour 2015."

Over the course of sixteen studio albums, George Thorogood and the Destroyers stormed the charts with six Gold and two Platinum records. The band embodies - and continues to define - powerhouse rock with bar band roots, unchained attitude and a fierce love of its country, blues and R&B history. After beginning as a solo acoustic act, Thorogood called high-school friend and drummer Jeff Simon to join his musical pursuit, with Bill Blough (bass), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) joining to become "The Destroyers" soon after. Their signature certified classic "Bad To The Bone" was written to be rocked out to live, and in combination with a catalog of hits that includes "Who Do You Love," "I Drink Alone" and "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," George Thorogood and the Destroyers continue to thrill audiences with their electrifying music as one of the most consistently unique and bad-to-the-bone bands in rock.

Grammy Award-winner Brian Setzer, consistently cited as one of the world's greatest living guitarists, knows how to rock. Accompanied by his white-hot band featuring Mark Winchester (bass), Kevin McKendree (piano) and Noah Levy (drums), Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot is a time-warp back to Memphis' Sun Studios in the mid-'50s. Setzer's latest album, "Rockabilly Riot!: All Original" finds the icon back in his native habitat, with songs like the revved-up single "Let's Shake," train track shuffles of "Calamity Jane," and the smooth romanticism of "The Girl With The Blues In Her Eyes."
